Freedom Arts Summer Camps

This summer, Freedom Arts & Education Center is excited to expand our summer camp program by offering not one, but three week long camps! Freedom Arts has been serving St. Louis since 2012 by providing quality arts education, academic enrichment, and mentoring to students of all ages and backgrounds. Our mission is to empower young people to become the highly creative, literate, passionate, independent thinkers they are capable of becoming. Our summer camps play a necessary role in not only providing educational continuity throughout the summer, but also in making relevant arts opportunities available to students whose schools may lack the arts. At every camp, snacks are provided and scholarships are available.

Elementary School Art Camp: Monday June 5 - Friday June 9

Elementary school students will receive instruction in beginning guitar and drums, jewelry making, mural painting, chalk art, and more! All classes are facilitated by highly trained, professional teaching artists. Like the middle schoolers, these elementary school students will also get to sell their work at the annual Freedom Arts Expo at their own artist’s booth!
For incoming 2nd - 5th graders | June 19 - June 23 | 12pm - 3pm daily

Middle School Art Camp: Monday June 19 - Friday June 23

Middle school students will get to explore digital music production, poetry writing, hip hop dance, graffiti art, acting, and more in this relevant week-long arts camp! All classes are facilitated by highly trained, professional teaching artists. Students will also get to sell their work at the annual Freedom Arts Expo at their own artist’s booth!
For incoming 6th - 8th graders | June 5 - June 9 | 12pm - 3pm daily

Elementary School Academic Camp: Monday July 3 - Friday July 7

By combining physical games with academic concepts in an innovative educational approach, elementary school students will work their minds and bodies in this exciting summer camp! Physically stimulating activities incorporate math, science, and history into challenging objectives that will work both the mind and body while equipping students to work as a team. All classes are facilitated by professional educators who are united by the philosophy of “learning through play.”
