Joshua Harvey
Teaching Artist
Joshua Harvey is a St. Louis native mentor, musician, and DJ who is devoted to creating inclusive leadership opportunities for youth throughout the St. Louis region. In high school, Joshua served as President of NAACP St. Louis County Youth Council and was leader for all four years on the school’s drumline. He graduated from Harris Stowe in 2022 with a degree in Sociology and is working towards a Masters of Public Administration from Webster University. Joshua currently works as a District Executive with Greater St. Louis Area Scouting where he is responsible for fostering community partnerships, diversifying the organization’s impact, and ensuring that all youth that want to join the organization have clear pathways. He joined the Freedom Arts squad in February 2025 and immediately made a welcomed impact as a multitalented artist and mentor with a willingness to serve the youth and support the team in all the ways he is able.
