Nikki Ellis
Teaching Artist
Nikki Ellis is a performing and teaching artist who has worked in the creative nonprofit space for more than 10 years. As a key Teaching Artist, Nikki supports the youth of Freedom Arts and our partner organizations, and also assists with event design, marketing campaigns, and fundraising initiatives. She has been a church music consultant for dozens of churches across the nation and currently sings on the music team at St. John’s Church - The Beloved Community. Born in Baltimore and raised in Chattanooga, Nikki graduated from Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts and earned her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from University of Mobile in 2009, and is currently studying Divinity at Eden Seminary. Nikki brings her vast creative experience and joyous energy to every space she graces.
