Tysean Brown
Youth Artist Organizer
Tysean Brown is a St. Louis native poet, musician, and emerging organizer. Starting out on the drums, Tysean discovered a talent for both music and the written word, and has released several songs and dozens of poems. As a graduated scholar and now youth advocate at Freedom Arts & Education Center, Tysean helps organize events and mentor middle and elementary school scholars. He is currently working on publishing his first book of poetry and illustrations, releasing an EP, and continuing his studies of history, astrology, and community organizing.
